Subject: Invitation to Enter the Barkhamsted Conservation Commission Recycled Art Contest
Dear Participants,
We are thrilled to invite you to participate in the Barkhamsted Conservation Commission
Recycled Art Contest, an event aimed at promoting creativity and environmental consciousness
within our community.
The premise of the contest is simple: create art using recycled materials and contribute to the
beautification and preservation of our environment. By repurposing materials that would
otherwise end up in landfills, we can reduce waste and inspire others to adopt more sustainable
practices.
Details of the contest are as follows:
Theme: Protecting Our Wildlife
Date: April 27th, 2025
Time: 11 - Noon (Drop off Art submission)
Location: People's State Forest, Barkhamsted
Time: Winners will be announced at 4 p.m.
Participants of all ages are welcome to showcase their creativity and contribute to the positive
impact on our community and environment.
To enter the contest, simply bring your artwork to the Barkhamsted Earth Day Nature Festival
between 11 a.m. and 12 noon on April 27th. Our team will be there to assist you with the
submission process.
Winners will be selected based on creativity, interpretation of theme, use of recycled materials,
and overall aesthetic appeal. Prizes will be awarded to the top entries.
We encourage you to spread the word and invite your friends, family, and neighbors to join us
for this exciting event. Together, we can make a difference in our community while celebrating
our planet.
If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact Judy
